The series is made in 15 minute episode format. Girl in the city, name given to the show itself defines about a girl’s coming to a big city. Meera played by Mithila Palkar is a girl from Dehradhun and she has come to Mumbai the city of dreams. She has a dream which she wants to fulfill and the series will cover the story of her journey. She has dream to become a famous fashion Designer. Mithila Palkar herself belongs to Mumbai so she defines it will be a difficult task for her to step into an image of a girl who belongs to the beautiful small city.
She defined she is trying her best to present through her acting skills about the hustle-bustle which people from other towns usually face when they come to Mumbai for work.
